    About the Club

The Manaia Swim Club's motto is...
"Train hard, compete even harder, but most of all have fun along the way."

Our club is run by its whanau, with a focus on supporting and developing our tamariki.  It is a non-profit club with some great volunteer coaches.

The club trains at the Whangarei Aquatic Centre from May - Nov and Whangarei Boys' High School from Dec - March.

History of the Manaia Swim and Surf Club
The club was established in 2006 by Lionel Rudolph, Heather Furgesson and Yvonne Howe.  The club was set up to cover the main streams of competitive swimming, surf life saving and learn to swim.
